Corações partidos

Cada vez tenho mais a certeza que as pessoas são diferentes. Quando somos motivados a ser mais como Cristo, os nossos valores e conceitos tornam-se diferentes.
Pensamos mais nos outros, servimos mais.
Quando o coração é alimentado pelo Ego, os sentimentos alheios não são tão importantes como a auto-satisfação.
Podemos saber que é errado, mas temos a resposta certa a dar: "Sou assim."
Como que esta afirmação fosse uma justificação plausível para negligênciar o nosso próximo...
Ora, um coração doente ou partido magoa. Mas um coração saudável ama e partilha o que há de melhor em si para servir os outros.
Vamos cuidar dos nossos corações, e remendar corações partidos à nossa volta com a Mensagem.

For it is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience, and in them you also once walked, when you were living in them. But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices, and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him—a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all.

Your new life — your Christian life — is all about Christ!

It is the life of Christ in you that is renewing your life and restoring the image of God in you. The more you put Christ on the throne of your life, the more you will experience God’s renewal in your heart. This is what breaks down the barriers between different kinds of people; it is the common experience of the life and love of Christ that binds my heart to people completely different to me.
